So. I have voiced my opinions about :dalogo:'s new Eclipse design quite a few times. But bottom line is, I hate it. There are so many problems with it that make it so user-unfriendly, and there are even several glitches with it that completely screw up how my profile looks.

For one thing, you know a layout is bad when it's legitimately difficult to add images to your favorites. It used to be so easy. You could click on an image and drag it into the folder of your choice. Why is it that with the new layout, you have to actually open up the image, click on it, scroll down to the "Add to Favorites" button, add it to the main folder, and only then will it allow you to add it to the subfolder?

Everything is endless scrolling. I've mentioned before how much I hate this design choice, and the fact that deviantART has seemingly switched to it and won't allow an option to keep pagination just makes me hate this layout even more.

They also got rid of a lot of the cool core membership features. Apparently journal skins are no longer going to be a thing, so say goodbye to this space background I've been using for years. They're removing critiques and webcams, and apparently they're making polls a feature for everyone, even non-paying members. Those are the main three reasons I even became a core member to begin with. Why are you removing them?

Also, there's a serious glitch on my userpage that I cannot figure out how to fix for the life of me. Whenever I switch to the Eclipse layout, for whatever reason it reverts my bio to an old one that I had over a year ago and won't let me update it to the newer one. And believe me, I have tried. I have copy-pasted the entire bio over, I have tried copy-pasting each section individually, I have even reported this to DA's moderation. No luck. This is legitimately one of the most frustrating things I have ever dealt with on this godforsaken site.

It just baffles me. Why would you take something good that you have going on and switch it to this horrible, jumbled mess? And why are you not listening to people's numerous criticisms about the new layout?

Anyway, I don't know yet if I will be moving to a new site, but I do know that I will probably become far less active over here. If you want to find me on other sites, I will put some links below.

Again, I don't know if I will be leaving this site for good, but it's better to keep up with me on sites that are hopefully more stable. Just... *sigh*

You broke my heart, deviantART. You broke my heart.

I came up with these parody lyrics to this Georgia Satellites hit after self-quarantining in my apartment for two weeks. Yesterday, I visited my parents, who have also been self-quarantining, and recorded this at their place.

But seriously, stay safe, everyone. And wash your hands!

Well. I wasn’t expecting to upload this full performance to the public, but amidst the coronavirus, everyone is stuck inside self-quarantining, so I figured I might as well post a video to keep you all entertained in the meantime. Here’s a video of me covering Skid Row’s classic 1989 hit, “I Remember You,” at an open mic night last month. I’ve been trying to perform live again, though granted, it’s harder than expected due to recent circumstances, haha.

Oh, and a new video will be coming on the first of next month!
